Fair Start Scotland is an employment support service for anyone with a health condition or disability. This flexible service is tailored to each individual’s personal circumstances, helping them to remove any barriers to finding employment.
Those taking part will have a dedicated personal adviser and a tailor-made action plan to help them meet their goals. They will be given guidance on developing a CV and searching and applying for jobs. Participants will have access to specialist support as well as training opportunities, work trials and job placements. An in-work support package will be provided for up to 12 months depending on individual circumstances.
Fair Start Scotland is a Scottish Government programme, Triage delivers this in partnership with StartScotland in East Lothian, Fife, Midlothian and the Scottish Borders.
