Triage operates a range of local, regional and national programmes, which support people to prepare for work, gain skills, upskill, contribute to career progression and secure meaningful and sustainable jobs.

Our programmes incorporate a range of initiatives designed to “help people succeed”.

The DWP Work Programme provides people with support, work experience and training for up to two years to help them find and stay in sustainable work. Our network of UK delivery centres offers a support framework designed to motivate and inspire individuals to regain confidence and self-respect. This personal service provides IAG, professional recruitment advice, employability skills and preparation courses, guidance, mentoring and an in-work support service to help people get a job and keep it.
Across a number of centres in Scotland from Cumbernauld to Aberdeen, we deliver SDS Employability Fund courses that support 16+ years of age to skills and prepare for the workplace. We deliver a range of skills training courses including Customer Service, Hospitality and Employability skills. We also provide work preparation and job placements for people aged 19+ working directly with employers to source suitable sustainable jobs that meet the needs of our learners.
We provide work-focused activities to individuals, skills training, employability readiness support and bespoke courses to support DWP’s unemployed claimants prepare, skill and progress towards and into work. The courses address specific barriers to employment and provide opportunities for a wide range of claimant groups including 50+ jobseekers, health benefit recipients, lone parents, ex-offenders and many more. Our portfolio of offerings is constantly being developed and designed to meet claimant needs, respond to DWP’s priorities and incorporate the findings from customer feedback (claimant / DWP / employer) and success measures.
Triage has over 20 years’ experience in supporting business start-ups. We recognise that for some customers, starting their own business, becoming self-employed, or simply being more enterprising in their search for work, is their preferred route to employment. We deliver Level 1 Awards in Enterprising skills and Employability, delivering bespoke training programmes equipping individuals with relevant skills and knowledge for their chosen sector. Triage is an approved IOEE (Institute and Entrepreneurs) Enterprise Academy and an approved SFEDI Awards Centre.
Triage delivers quality training across a range of sectors including Care, Retail, Contact Centres, Construction, Hospitality, Tourism and many more. Triage offers a bespoke service, tailored to suit business and employee needs. Our qualified and experienced trainers, assessors and IQAs are subject matter experts and deliver role and organisation specific training to respond to business needs and maximise learners knowledge, skills and motivation to progress.

An example is our Customer Service Level 3 Apprenticeship(BIIAB), which supports and enables individuals to become a professional in the customer service sector and a point of contact for knowledge in the field dealing with more complex issues and queries. This Apprenticeship can lead to learners becoming expert in their organisational field which could be contact centre, retail, customer service industries and service points.Want to know more, get in touch.

The Customer Service Apprenticeship takes up to 12 months to complete. There will be an End Point assessment and throughout the apprenticeship knowledge and skills are reviewed through professional discussion and observation with our sector expert trainers/assessors.

As specialists in employability and occupational skills our commercial training and skills development courses will give employees the skills and training they can immediately use in the workplace. It also gives them the opportunity to gain experience and understanding in key functions and to understand how their role is helping to create business value.

We offer short courses which give employees skills and knowledge in a day to a few weeks as well as longer programmes that develop skills and knowledge and give employees recognised qualifications. We can customise our courses to suit business needs and can provide them on a short, full-time or part-time basis so that employees can fit study around work and personal commitments.

All the commercial courses are acceptable for Individual Teaching Account (ITA formerly called ILA) - available in Scotland only.
