"The recruitment team has many contacts with local employers across Tees Valley and provides support with their recruitment needs. Triage is a Disability Confident Leader and we actively support equal opportunities in the workplace and encourage employers to recruit people who may have a health condition or disability.
"Across the team, they bring several exclusive vacancies that all participants on the Work and Health Programme have access to and are submitted through their employment adviser. Upon securing work the employment adviser helps the participant transition into their first month of employment. Following this, a specialist employment support officer is assigned and provides weekly support to ensure job sustainability, as well as offering regular advice and guidance for the participant.
"The team highlights current employer expectations and can provide feedback to upskill participants to ensure they are the right candidates for current and upcoming vacancies.
"This last year has brought some changes where the team has adapted to attending meetings virtually and depending more on emails and telephone contact. Although we have seen many changes as a result of Covid-19, our recruitment team has continued to identify suitable opportunities for our participants and still support local employers to build their workforce.
"The team is excited about upcoming opportunities with Spring Forward to support more of our participants into employment."
